Board Exams - Paper 2

23 May 2023 507

In my first blog this year titled “Life Update 2”, I wrote about wanting to make an announcement but ended up not doing it because it would have been very embarrassing if I was wrong. To those of you who read my blogs regularly, my second blog titled “Board Exam Results Anxiety” was about the announcement that I was not ready to make in my first blog. Well, it explains why I was afraid to make the announcement. Something about me and my VERY BIG MOUTH, a litigators flaw – story for another day.

I actually wrote part of this blog on the 18th of April and was a bit insecure about completing it then, so I left it for after receiving my results on the 19th of May 2023.

So here goes:

“I wrote the Estates and Wills (Paper 2) exam on the 15th of March 2023, and I must say, a big shout out to my senior Mr Styger for investing his time and effort in making sure that I can confidently say that I passed this exam without receiving the results. Just a side note – a fail here will be very unexpected but”

As you can see from the above fear started to creep in but when you know you know, I have officially received confirmation that I passed my exam, and I would just like to thank Mr Andre Styger for what he did for me and the rest of the candidate attorneys that attended his extra classes.

His contribution during my preparation for this exam was very great and I personally don’t take it for granted.

I have never walked out of an exam room so confident in myself and I pray that other candidate attorneys will be as blessed as me in that regard.

So here is a toast to my MR STYGER, MY PASS AND MY PASS MARK.
