NVR: Proud sponsor of the Goldfields Debating League

The aim of the competition is to develop a love in children for debating, and developing the language skills in the process. Local teachers run the league who spend their own time to develop these debaters of the future. The students can compete during a couple of competitions during each quarter and is then rewarded for their efforts. The final team then competes in the Free State Debating competition on behalf of the Goldfields region. Congratulations to the debaters who worked hard during the year and reaped the rewards for all their effort. A special recognition to the teachers who gives up their Saturdays to support their students in this great initiative.
