With 14 years of experience, Marié is currently heading the Collection’s Department at Neumann van Rooyen inc., which she and her team are committed to making effective, ethical and results driven. Marié has also been involved with the Litigation Department at Neumann van Rooyen inc. since 2010, assisting with general litigation and family law matters. She also provides services regarding the updating of credit records and evictions from commercial and residential properties.

Marié is involved in the day to day running of the legal system at Neumann van Rooyen inc. and has a passion for the development and training of personnel in all areas, to improve service and strengthen the firm and its relationship with clients.

Marié obtained her LL.B degree from the University of the North-West (2000). While completing her studies she served as an academic assistant and presented extra classes in the family law department to first and second year students. She commenced her professional career as a candidate attorney in 2001. Marié was admitted as an attorney in 2003, and a conveyancer in 2005.

For Marié, quality of service, trustworthy client relationships and a strong work ethic is what matters most. By working closely with colleagues in various departments and also local court personnel, she is able to keep her high standards of service and properly provide solutions to all clients. Marié also enjoys being involved in her local community and attending local projects. She is also currently part of her child’s school parental committee.
